True north AND OTHER affordable Housing Affordable Housing Opportunities in the Community The Housing Authority owns more than 100 rental units throughout Utah County. We have duplexes and 4-plexes in Lindon, Orem, Springville, Spanish Fork and Spring Lake. These 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom units are available for eligible families. We also have several disability accessible units throughout the County. Eligibility The Housing Authority has a zero tolerance for drug and violent criminal activity on all Housing Authority-owned properties. We conduct a complete background check for all adults prior to admission to the program, and evict any resident involved in this activity. Applying to Rent a Unit Applications are available at the Housing Authority of Utah County, 240 East Center Street, Provo, UT 84606. You must complete the application and attach all required information. Make sure to fill in every blank and sign and date every form. If an applicant needs rental subsidy to pay the contract rent, they must also have a Section 8 Voucher prior to being approved. We have separate waiting lists for each different program and family size (see below). Waiting time depends on availability of unit, date of application, assistance available, family size and any selection preferences in effect. Preferences for specific groups of families help the Housing Authority direct limited resources to families with the greatest housing need in our community. When a unit becomes available we will contact you. As part of the screening process, a Housing Authority representative will visit your home. True North, LLC True North, LLC owns 82 units in Lindon, Orem, Springville and Spanish Fork. These duplexes have 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms. All of these units have washer/dryer hook-ups. Rents range from $600.00 to $1,215.00; deposits range from $250 - $450. Contact HAUC for current availability. Willow Cove, LLC These 3-bedroom units were built specifically for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Applicants must provide verification of the domestic violence in order to receive consideration for these units. Carillon Court There are 16 one-bedroom units on ground level that are available for households who are 62 years of age or older. Each apartment has washer/dryer hook-ups and central air conditioning. Spring Lake Apartments These 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units were built primarily for families who receive the majority of their income from agriculture labor. An on-site laundry facility is available for all tenants. All of the utilities are included in the rent amount. Rental subsidy for this program is provided by USDA.
