IN THIS DIVISION . . . To further fulfill the mission of the Health Department, the Public Health Preparedness Team has been charged with developing and implementing the Utah County Health Department Emergency Response Plan. These emergencies range from a chemical spill to a bioterrorism event. Though no imminent danger threatens Utah County, being prepared will allow the Health Department to react effectively to a public health emergency. The team consists of an emergency response planner, an epidemiologist and a risk communicator. |
