Community Resources

In addition to providing nutritious foods and education, WIC also provides referrals to other agencies. There are many resources in the community to help each family meet its needs. The programs mentioned below are located in Utah County or nearby.

Provides Food Stamps, Medicaid and the following services:

• Employment

Offers effective literacy tutoring to families and individuals.

Assists people to become more self-reliant by providing the following services:

• Finding employment
• Obtaining additional education or vocational training

Provides a one-on-one tutorial program to non-literate adults to improve their reading and writing skills. Helps these individuals meet their personal goals, function well in society, and become more productive citizens. Must be 16 years of age or older.
