Community Resources

In addition to providing nutritious foods and education, WIC also provides referrals to other agencies. There are many resources in the community to help each family meet its needs. The programs mentioned below are located in Utah County or nearby.

Holy Cross Ministries

Provides employment counseling and services, food and educational services. Educational services include English as a Second language classes, some translation services and health education.

UTA BUS

Transportation system. Reduced fare for disabled, and senior citizens.

Utah Valley Paratransit

Services for the disabled and senior citizens who cannot ride the bus. Provides transportation to senior citizen centers country-wide. UTA funded curb-side service for individuals with disabilities who are not able to use the UTA system.
