Modified Fire Restriction Order Issued by Utah State Forester

A modified fire restriction order was issued by the Utah State Forester, effective 07/11/12

Effective 07/11/12, the Utah State Forester has issued a modified Fire Restriction Order. Until rescinded, the Discharge of firearms for target shooting is prohibited in the following areas of Utah County: The Lake Mountain area, including lands South of SR 73, West of SR 68 and North of US 6 to the Utah County line. The West Mountain area, including lands West of SR 141 and bordered both South and East of Utah Lake. Residents and Visitors are advised that violation of the stated prohibited act is punishable as a Class B misdemeanor.

Attached to this news release, is a copy of the newest Fire Restriction Order.
