Charges Filed Against Highland Resident  
Twenty two felony counts were filed againt a Highland man involving the misuse of monies collected from individuals.
| On March 30, 2007, The Utah County Attorney's Office filed charges against Mr. Newton Taylor of Highland, Utah. He was charged with a total of 22 felony counts in the Fourth District Court involving the misuse of monies collected from three individuals totaling over $400,000. |

| The schemes by Mr. Taylor involved the convincing of investors that high returns and profitability were possible if they invested with him. Mr. Taylor claimed to be putting investors monies into stocks and other "high yield" programs. Mr. Taylor has been indicted previously on similar violations in the past and is not licensed to sell securities in Utah. |
