May 1, 2013 -- As part of the week-long National Prevention Week, the Utah County Health Department is sponsoring a Suicide Prevention Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, May 16th at the Historic County Court House Ballroom (2nd floor, 51 South University Avenue, Provo). The evening keynote speaker will be Dr. Greg Hudnall, HOPE Task Force executive director. The HOPE Task Force (Hold On, Persuade and Empower) is a multi- disciplinary coalition dedicated to suicide prevention, intervention, and post-support. In addition, there will be information booths and representatives to answer questions from Wasatch Mental Health, NAMI Utah County, Intermountain Healthcare, the BYU Comprehensive Clinic, and the Hope Squad.
