A 53 year old Salt Lake County Woman was injured in a single motorcycle crash in Goshen Canyon. Alcohol and prescription drugs may be involved. The woman was wearing a helmet.
On July 21, 2013, at about 3:08 P.M., Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a report of a single motorcycle crash at the mouth of Goshen Canyon in Utah County. The woman, Brenda Charlene Robbs, 52, Salt Lake County, was driving north out of Goshen Canyon when she was unable to negotiate a curve and went off the side of the road. Robbs was wearing a helmet but she sustained head injuries and other scrapes and abrasions. She was in and out of consciousness as she was being treated. Deputies suspect alcohol and possibly prescription medications may be a factor in this crash. Robbs was flown to University Medical Center in Salt Lake by an Airmed helicopter.
