Jace Marietti, who lives in Price, is fighting Cockayne Syndrome. The average age of those with this condition is 12 years old. Now 17 years old, Jace has gone far beyond that. One of his dreams in life is to be a Police Officer. Jessi Adams, whose husband is a Carbon County Deputy, has organized an event where there will be police cars and motorcycles, public officials, and members of the community and Jace will be made an Honorary Deputy with the Carbon County Sheriff's Office. He will be presented with a Carbon County Sheriff's Office badge and a quilt with a patch from every law enforcement agency in the state of Utah.
This event will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 2:00 P.M. and will be held in the Carbon County High School Auditorium, 750 E 400 N, Price, Utah. AND JACE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS SO KEEP IT A SECRET FROM HIM!
