May 27th at 1pm in American Fork
or May 28th 10am in Provo

Child passenger safety seats (or car seats) -- when used correctly -- greatly reduce chances of injury and death. But with all the different kinds of seats and cars, it is easy to be confused. The Utah County Health Department (UCHD) offers free car seat installation classes for parents (as well as grandparents, day-care providers, care-givers, etc) by Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians on the proper use and installation of infant and child car seats. Booster seats and child seat belt use are also discussed. The class is free and no registration is required, but prompt attendance is enforced.

The next class will be held on Tuesday, May 27th at 1 p.m. at the North Utah County Health Department Office (599 South 500 East, American Fork). Another class will be held Wednesday, May 28th at 10 a.m. at the Utah County Health and Justice Building (151 South University Ave, Provo).
