Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a nutrition and lifestyle program designed to help low income women who are pregnant, recently had a baby, or breastfeeding, and for children up to age five. WIC helps children when they are growing the most and can help families develop life-long health habits. By providing nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding help, and referrals to other community agencies WIC hopes to impact your family directly! To apply for WIC benefits, contact your local clinic to set up an appointment. In Utah County, please see www.UtahCountyWIC.org or call 801-851-7300. Statewide, call 1-877-WIC-KIDS (877-942-5437) or see www.health.utah.gov/wic.
