A 19 year old man was injured when he was thrown from a horse in the rodeo ground in Cedar Fort. He was flown to the hospital by a medical helicopter.
On May 24, 2015, at about 3:25 P.M., Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a report of a man injured at the rodeo grounds in Cedar Fort. The victim, a 19 year old man, was thrown from the horse while riding and was unconscious for several minutes. Initially he was having difficulty breathing but medical personnel with Cedar Fort Fire and Unified Fire Authority stabilized him and he was talking when he left. LifeFlight responded and transported the victim to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He is in serious condition but his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
