An Alaska man was critically injured at Point of the Mountain Flight Park after his paraglider crashed. He was flown to IMC in Murray.
On June 6, 2015, at 6:13 A.M., Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a report of a paraglider crash at Point of the Mountain Flight Park. Lehi Police also responded along with Lehi Fire Department medical personnel. The victim is reported to have fallen about 50 feet on top of the flight park, near the south slope. The victim, Everett C. Bailey, Jr., age 59, of Seward, Alaska, sustained head and back injuries and reported loss of feeling in his lower extremities. A LifeFlight helicopter also responded and the victim was flown to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray where he is being treated.
