A Millard County woman became hypothermic before dying in a remote area of Utah County.
The Utah Medical Examiner has determined that Stacy Jo Morrill, the 52 year old Millard County woman found dead in remote southwest Utah County, became hypothermic after leaving her SUV near the Dividend Road, about 4 miles east of Eureka. Her SUV was found on the night of May 15. Search efforts by SAR, K9, helicopters, and an airplane were not able to find Morrill. She was found by family members on Friday, May 20. The Medical Examiner said Morrill would have become disoriented and confused. As reported previously, Morrill had removed her clothing and there was evidence in the area that showed she had walked aimlessly over a broad area before she died.
