A 42 year old man and a 23 year old man are dead after what appears to be a murder suicide. A family member discovered one of the bodies. It appears that the 42 year old was killed by the 23 year old. The other was discovered after Deputies arrived.

On March 24, 2017, at 12:42 PM, Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suicide near 7600 South 1800 West in Utah County near Spanish Fork. Deputies arrived and found a 42 year old man dead in a bed inside the home. He appeared to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds. A short time later Deputies found a 23 year old man dead outside the home in a driveway. He appeared to have died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. The man inside the home is Chad Elwood Conrad. He is a Sergeant who worked in Corrections with the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. The man outside the home is Damon Brian Bushman, who is Conrad's nephew. Both men lived in the home. Evidence suggests that this incident is a murder-suicide.
