Death Investigation is under way on formerly reported missing and endangered, Luciano Trujillo.

As previously reported, the body of Luciano Reynaldo Trujillo was recovered early last night, on 07/07/10, by Utah County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue personnel in the Nutty Putty Caves area of Utah County. Approximately 30 sworn and search and rescue personnel assisted in the search efforts throughout the day. They employed a fixed wing aircraft, a helicopter, and a blood hound, along with traditional ground searching by foot.

Mr. Trujillo was located approximately one mile south east of where his car had been abandoned. At this time, the Utah County Sheriff's Office is conducting an official investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Trujillo's death. However, investigators do not feel that his death was due to self-inflicted or suspicious circumstances. As the death is classified as unattended, the State Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death in this incident.

At this time, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Trujillo family as they try to recover from their loss.
