Beat the rush (and disease!) ... immunize now
As parents prepare to register children for kindergarten, they need to remember that each student must have proof of being up-to-date on their childhood immunizations. Kindergartners need to have shots for DTP/DTaP/DT, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A and Varicella (chickenpox). The Utah County Health Department can help children catch up on the proper immunizations, even if you don't have insurance. Don't wait until school starts .. . avoid the rush and stress by completing the required immunizations now. For details, please see www.UtahCountyHealth.org/immunizations or call 801-851-7019.
