August 23, 7 p.m.
Approximately one in twelve people in Utah have asthma. The Utah County Health Department and the Utah Department of Health Asthma program is sponsoring a town hall meeting to discuss how asthma effects individuals everyday lives, resources and services related to asthma, and other issues and concerns of the community.
The meeting is not only meant to be educational for the participants, but officials are also seeking feedback on the ability of individuals to receive information, access to treatment, how they and family members are treated at school and in the community, etc..
This free session will be held Tuesday, August 23rd at 7 p.m. at the Historic Utah County Courthouse Ballroom (51 S. University Ave, Provo). Refreshments will be provided, and bilingual staff will be available.
