Mondays from 11 am to noon, from October 17 to December 5, in Lindon
The Utah County Health Department (UCHD) will be offering a free class based the on Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program starting on Monday, October 17th. The eight part class -- held Mondays from 11am to noon at the Lindon Senior Center (25 N. Main) -- was created for people with arthritis to keep joints flexible, muscles strong and to help reduce the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. With less pain, people with arthritis may be able to reduce their reliance on pain medication. Developed by physicial therapists, this low impact class is designed to address the pain, fatigue and decreased strength that often accompany the disease. Routines can be done either standing or sitting and use gentle range-of-motion movements that are suitable for every fitness level. For questions, please contact Marla at 801-851-7092.
